Behind Closed Doors

Ever since I was a little girl you could find me with my nose in a book. I have always loved to read and that is something that has not changed as I have gotten older. Something about being totally transported in to another world – there is nothing like it. I recall summers where I would read 3 or 4 books a week – if not more. Now that I have two young daughters, my reading time has been cut drastically. But, I still find the time.

We recently moved in to an old house and there are several windows that I love to cuddle up in with a good book. But when the weather is nice, my favorite spot to read is right on the front porch, in my rocking chair, with a hot cup of coffee. We live right across the street from a beautiful church and so the view is breathtaking. It is the perfect spot to get away ans slip in to another world. My favorite genre is horror – thriller – anything really creepy – but I enjoy all types of books, really. I used to read stories like Goosebumps and Fear Street growing up – and have since graduated to more psychological thrillers. To me, Behind Closed Doors would fit right in to this category.

About Behind Closed Doors
Everyone knows a couple like Jack and Grace. He has looks and wealth, she has charm and elegance. You might not want to like them, but you do. You’d like to get to know Grace better. But it’s difficult, because you realize Jack and Grace are never apart. Some might call this true love. Others might ask why Grace never answers the phone. Or how she can never meet for coffee, even though she doesn’t work. How she can cook such elaborate meals but remain so slim. And why there are bars on one of the bedroom windows.

From the moment it arrived, I could not put this book down. I knew that it was going to be a quick read for me and that I would finish reading it within the week. I don’t have a lot of free time but I made free time for Behind Closed Doors. I needed to know what was going to happen – how it was going to end. The book got better and better as it went on. I highly recommend picking ths book up when it is available for purchase on August 9th. If I had to pick one summer must read – this is it!
