My husband was in the U.S. Navy so he is really into anything that has to do with the water. Any Navy or Coast Guard film that comes out is a must see for him. He has been looking forward to The Finest Hours for quite some time because it is based on a true story – one of the most daring Coast Guard rescue missions in history. From the second he found out that it was being made into a film, he has been waiting to see it. As soon as I heard the list of actors involved (Casey Affleck, Ben Foster, Chris Pines…), found out Disney was doing it, and saw the first trailer – I was hooked! Of course since I grew up in Massachusetts and this is set there, I am excited about that as well. Just check out the clips and featurettes below and try to tell me you don’t want to see this film. You won’t be able to do it! It looks so good. The Finest Hours hits theaters everywhere on January 29th and we plan to go see it this weekend, will you be going?
