Honest Tea

I try to select companies that give back and are honest about their ingredients and workers when I go shopping. That is one reason why I love Honest tea and Honest kids. I have pride in the fact that I send my girls to school with Honest kids juice pouches versus some other brands. I am a huge iced tea drinker – it is so refreshing – and I love the flavors that Honest tea offers. They believe in “quali-tea” which for them brings together 5 factors: Organic, Hand Plucked, Fair Trade Certified, Real Brewed, and Compost Leaves. You can read more about the process in which they brew their tea here.

Their mission says it all: “Honest Tea seeks to create and promote great-tasting, healthier, organic beverages. We strive to grow our business with the same honesty and integrity we use to craft our products, with sustainability and great taste for all.” There is no doubt about it, they are the type of company that I want to support. They are fair trade certified (and paid $200,124 back to their sourcing communities in 2014) as well as USDA Organic. But even if you forget about all that stuff, they taste amazing! I love Honest tea and could drink it all day. My daughters know the difference between Honest kids juice and other juices. They get upset if they are given a different juice pouch – what can I say, they love their Honest! Honest Tea is the nation’s top-selling organic bottled tea company and if you have never tried them before, do yourself a favor and go out and get some!
