I am always trying to sneak learning in to any activity that I do with the girls. They are becoming really smart little girls because of this (OK, I am a little bias, I know). We even have learning place mats for meal time. The only thing with those is that we have had them forever and they both have already learned everything they can from them. While I was looking for new place mats I discovered the Table-Time Look & Learn Teaching Tablecloth. I was so excited for it to arrive in the mail because I knew that the girls would love it.

The Table-Time Look & Learn Mostly Math Tablecloth features a wide variety of math-related lessons that cover the educational State Standards children must learn to progress from pre-K/K level to first grade. All of the lessons feature wonderfully-detailed, quirky animal characters and imagery from Rob Oliver, a Simpsons illustrator and Emmy-nominated artist. Made from PEVA, which has the feel of vinyl but contains zero harmful PVCs, the Mostly Math Tablecloth is a trustworthy alternative to traditional materials. PEVA cleans up easily with a damp cloth, and children can even write on/wipe off with Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable Markers for more interactive fun.

The tablecloth fits perfectly on our kitchen table and my daughters have so much fun with it while they eat breakfast. My four year old is really improving her addition skills while my two year old is getting awesome at counting.  This Table-Time Look & Learn Tablecloth is great to help any kid to brush up on their math skills before school comes back in session – or throughout the year!
