Back to school is fast approaching and so I have put together a roundup of some of my favorite snacks. These are all perfect for lunchboxes – or even for an after school snack!

Go Organically   Go Organically

Go Organically Fruit Snacks
Unlike other fruits snacks on the market, Go Organically is made with multiple real fruit purees that taste delicious. This new product is GMO free, gluten free, contains 100% DV vitamin C, is an excellent source of Vitamins A&E, and has a delicious taste and texture. At Go Organically, their mission is simple. They believe fruit snacks should be made with real fruit, and as such, source their ingredients from USDA certified organic fruit to offer you the best, most authentic, and delicious fruit snacks. Our motto says it all – “Go Organically®…You’ll like what’s in it. You’ll love what’s not!” My daughters love these fruit snacks – and of course I love what is NOT in them. They are better-for-you and taste delicious. I may or may not have snuck a bag to myself a few times already. My daughters both ask for these by name now. I plan to continue to purchase these for them.

Sneaky Chef

Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter
Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter is a delicious peanut-butter alternative made from naturally sweet and “nutty” tasting yellow peas, but without a trace of peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, or soy.   Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butters are produced in a nut-free facility and are all natural, soy free, gluten-free and contain no high fructose corn syrup, no hydrogenated oils and no artificial colors or flavors. Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter is available in two varieties, Sneaky Chef Smooth No-Nut Butter and Sneaky Chef Chocolate No-Nut Butter, both available in 18 ounce jars as well as 6 ounce grab-and-go cups and is an indulgent peanut butter alternative that is so good, everyone will love it, allergies or not! My husband, who is a peanut butter fanatic, had no idea this was not peanut butter when I gave it to him. After I told him, he tried to back track and say he thought something was off, but I don’t believe him. Either way the entire family loves it and I am glad I can send the girls to school with it and not worry about other kids and possible allergies. Find where to purchase yours here.

yummy snacks

YummySnack Bars are the “better-than-candy” bars. They’re made of wholesome, real-food ingredients like flaxseed, almond butter, coconut, natural peanut butter and cocoa—yet still taste like favorite candy bars!  All YummySnack Bars are gluten-free and contain only 8 grams of sugar (and no starch), are high in fiber, and contain 100 mg of Omega 3s.  They do not contain hydrogenated oils, trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, artificial flavors or preservatives of any kind.   YummySnack Bars are available in six delicious flavors:  Peppermint, Brownie, Coconut, Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter and Chocolate. My daughters love these! They have already eaten almost the entire box – but I want them to save them for school. Looks like I will have to buy some more! Purchase Here.

sunridge farms

Sunridge Farms
SunRidge Farms sources the best possible non-GMO ingredients from suppliers who share a desire to promote sustainability, improve living conditions and reduce environmental impact. Almond Cranberry Power Chews – new! – Roasted almond butter energy bars with crispy brown rice and dried cranberries, sweetened with real honey and brown rice syrup. Peanut Butter Power Chews – new! –  Roasted peanut butter, crispy brown rice and a touch of honey and brown rice syrup. Vanilla Coconut Power Chews – new! – Roasted peanut butter, crispy brown rice and shredded toasted coconut, sweetened with honey and brown rice syrup. My daughters, who are pretty picky when it comes to their snacks, love all of these. They devoured the peanut butter ones pretty quickly. These would make the perfect school snack! Purchase Here

Sunridge Farms

Sunridge Farms also offers some sweet and salty treats that are great in lunches – or as an afternoon snack (even for moms!) The Fair Trade Dark Chocolate Almonds are California almonds coated in rich Fair Trade dark chocolate with a touch of sea salt for an inviting treat. My daughters love these and since someone in their class has a peanut allergy, these are strictly an at home snack (which means I can sneak some when they aren’t looking!). My personal favorite are the Milk Chocolate Rainbow Drops which are a healthier alternative to M&Ms. These candy coated milk chocolate pieces use colors created from vegetable juices and go great with a hot cup of tea. Sunridge’s Roasted Cashews are a high-protein, salty snack for everyone to enjoy. My husband can be found snacking on these when he gets home from work most days!

CLIF Kids Zbar
An organic baked whole grain snack made with a nutritious blend of carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and fat to maintain kids’ energy…so kids can keep zipping and zooming along. Zbar and Zbar Protein offer kids a little chocolaty, organic whole grain goodness. My daughters love these. When this package arrived in the mail my two year old started spinning in circles and singing. They are perfect for an after school snack or to be taken to school in a lunchbox. Purchase here.

cello whisps

Cello Whisps
Whisps are the first of their kind, made from one single ingredient – pure Parmesan cheese. Using Cello’s award-winning copper kettle Parmesan cheese aged 14 months, these wholesome, crispy, airy bites are a new spin on snacking. Whisps are gluten and wheat-free and an excellent source of protein and calcium with no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives, and no added sugar. These are so good and I ate the entire bag in one sitting. If you love cheese, you will love these! A great snack to send kids to school with – find where to purchase yours here.
