My December Surviving Momhood Box in Detail

I look forward to my Surviving Momhood Box every month. I just know that it will be jam packed full of amazing goodies. Things that I need, things that I want, things that I will keep for myself, and things I will share with my daughters. My December box is one of my favorites so far! It is very very cold up here in upstate New York and my box was filled with just what I needed to stay warm! Subscribe here and tell them Mama Smith sent you!

The Toby NYC Cat Earmuffs and Fingerless Gloves for my girls is probably the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. I wanted to steal these earmuffs, but of course, the box came with my own (because the folks at Surviving Momhood think of EVERYTHING). My 2 year old looks so stinking cute with these on – but really they fit my 3.5 year old best. And good thing too because she would probably physically fight her sister for them. She wears them around the house ALL THE TIME. I am really glad that she enjoys them though because she does not fight me on wearing them outside. They keep her cute little ears warm and cozy. The fingerless gloves fit her well and she really likes those too. And I love my ear muffs! I really needed some for this crazy cold weather here (I am not in Florida anymore, that’s for sure!) so thanks Surviving Momhood!

I am constantly on my phone. I know I shouldn’t be – and I really do try to take it easy sometimes. But alas, I am addicted to technology. I have always hated being outside in the cold and having to take off my gloves to pull up something on my phone. That is why I was so excited to receive a pair of MIXIT Smart Phone Gloves in my December box. I love these things! They work great! Now I can keep my fingers toasty warm and play with my smartphone at the same time. In my box was also a pair of adorable Legale Crochet Leg Warmers. I have been on a leggings and skirts kick lately and these look super cute with them! I love that my legs stay warm – and I can be fashionable at the same time.

I drink a lot of coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. Especially in the winter. So the Stitched By Kate Coffee Cup Holder and “T” Travel Mug were the PERFECT things for me! I usually run my errands after I drop my oldest at school in the afternoons. So much easier to get things done with only one kid. That is also about the time that I need my afternoon pick me up. I have started taking these with my on those afternoons for my coffee and I love them both!
The other great goodies that were in my December Surviving Momhood Box were Swiss Miss Mint Chocolate Cocoa Mix, a Mickey Mouse Ornament & Candy, a Yankee Candle, and some yummy Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark! I made myself some of the hot cocoa almost right away. The box arrived on Christmas Eve so it was perfect timing for some cocoa by the fire. I had never had the mint chocolate flavor before and I loved it! It really warmed me up and brought a holiday feeling to me. The Mickey Mouse ornament went right on the tree. On Christmas morning, my daughters and I shared the candies that were inside. They were really good. The Yankee Candle that was in my box is Christmas Cookie scent. It is probably my favorite scent and I wait all year for it. I was so excited to get this! I started burning it that night – perfect for Christmas Eve. Lastly, the Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark. It came with two pieces and I reluctantly shared one of them with my daughters. We all really enjoyed it – of course!

My December Surviving Momhood Box also came with a Hot Chocolate Spoons Recipe. I had my in-laws over that night and so I made them up real quick. They loved them! Well, the whole family did! I cannot wait to make them again. They are delicious! They are also super easy to make. Can you imagine all these goodies in one subscription box? I can promise you that you will not be disappointed if you subscribe. Be sure to tell them Mama Smith sent you!
