A STEM Box Sure to Get a Great REACTION #giveaway

15

I love craft boxes. I am a little bit addicted to them and if I could sign up for all of them, I would. My girls get so excited when I tell them that another box full of goodies for us came. They cannot get enough of them. My husband is an engineer and was a nuclear mechanic in the U.S. Navy for 9 years. So he is a HUGE advocate of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities for children. When I told him about the Learn Garden box that would be coming and that it was filled with STEM activities – he got so excited!

The Learn Garden box that we received was themed “reactions” – and we had a blast with it! There were three activities that were all neatly outlined on cards. I LOVE this concept. It makes it easy for the parents and kids when you are setting up the different science experiments. The three activities are Lava in a Jar, Color KaBoom, and Volcano & Crafts. My family really enjoyed doing all three of them together. My 3.5 year old flipped over the volcano! My youngest and I thought that the color mix was the coolest – and my husband was a huge fan of the Lava in a Jar!

One quick thing about the company themselves – we received our box and when I opened it up, it was all smashed and broken. I emailed them and they sent a new box out right away. It came in just a few days. I love companies like this. No hassles at all! Order yours and learn more about Learn Garden from their website – learngarden.com.

  1. My daughters actually go to a STEM academy. My second-grader was moved ahead to advanced math which basically means she is now at a third-grade level. I love it.
  2. Marnie G (Derrick Todd) on
I would love to do these experiments with my sister who is a 7th grade science teacher and my nephews.
  3. You should add this to the Homeschool Giveaway Linky (you have another giveaway--the books one, you could add too): http://lindaslunacy.com/2015/01/homeschool-giveaway-linky-10/

(It's not my site...I just like to spread the word).

Also, if the STEM Box people read these, they really need to put info about what ages these are for on their site, and maybe a little more about them. There wasn't much info there.
