Even though I work from home, I enjoy getting dressed up quite often. But if I am being totally honest here, I just don’t have the time to go to the dry cleaners. That is where Dryel comes in. With Dryel, I can basically turn my house in to a dry cleaners! Thanks to Dryel, I can wear my nice dresses whenever I want. No need to rush to a dry cleaners, just toss it in a bag with a cleaning cloth for a few minutes and I am good to go!

Get Up and Go This Summer With Go Organically Fruit Snacks | #Summer

My youngest daughter is going off to all day Preschool starting in September. Because of this, we are really taking advantage of the summer. We have traveled around a lot – and have spent many afternoons packing up lunch and having a picnic together. This is one of our favorite things to do on a nice warm day. Living in upstate New York, we have to enjoy the nice weather while we can.

Dryel 101: How to Dry Clean Your Clothes – at Home! | #Dryel

If you are like me, then you have a lot of nice clothes. I enjoy wearing dresses and nice shirts even though I do not work out of the home. My husband also wears a lot of dress clothes because of his work – he is an instructor at a Nuclear Power Plant. We want to ensure our clothes stay nice, but taking them to the dry cleaners can be expensive and time consuming. However, now that we discovered Dryel, our home is our dry cleaners!

All About The Costumes of Descendants 2 From Designer Kara Saun | #Descendants2

One of my favorite things about Descendants was the costumes. I am a huge fan of the villains and so I loved seeing all the badass costumes that were inspired by them. Don’t get me wrong, the princess and prince costumes were great too, but I fell in love with the VKs clothes. While in LA a few months ago, I not only got to chat with the cast and see some of Descendants 2, I was able to talk with costume designer, Kara Saun. I loved hearing about her inspirations and the process that she goes through. Descendants 2 airs on July 21st, don’t miss it!

Keep Track of Your Pet & Their Health with Paby Smart Pet Tracker | #Paby #PetParents

We are a dog family. There are two of them in our family, a pug named Khaleesi, and a puggle named Sansa (clearly we are Game of Thrones fans). Our pug is great at staying in the yard and causing no issues, but the puggle, who just turned one, likes to push our buttons. She will normally stay in the yard, but she likes to find places to hide that we didn’t even know about. That is why we were really excited to try out the new smart pet tracker, Paby.

Tips For Save Money: Plumbing Fixes You Can Do Yourself | #PlumbingFixes #RotoRooter

We recently moved into an older home. It was built in the 1890s and we chose it because of how beautiful it was and because of all the details you just don’t get in a home anymore. However, along with those gorgeous details, we got really old pipes and plumbing. Unfortunately this means a lot of clogged drains and toilets. We (wrongly) assumed that it also meant a lot of expensive plumbing bills when we first moved in, and then we discovered Roto-Rooter at home products.

Make Dinners Easy with a Terra’s Kitchen Subscription | #TerrasKitchen

I have always enjoyed cooking, but I am not one for coming up with good recipes. I have many cookbooks, but honestly I can flip through one for an hour and still not know what I want to make for dinner. That is one of the many reasons I love Terra’s Kitchen. They make dinners easy by sending you the ingredients you need – already prepped. They have a good amount of recipes to choose from, but not too many that you can’t decide. And the recipes are really easy to follow.

Tobacco Free New York State Urges Public to Protect Children | #SeenEnoughTobacco

As a mom of two young kids, one thing I am very concerned about is tobacco and cigarettes. They see them everywhere and my husband and I have been trying to teach them about how unhealthy they are. Yes, we even sometimes over exaggerate with words like “ew” and “gross” when we are near someone smoking, but it seems to be helping. I was very pleased to hear about the Seen Enough Tobacco Campaign that Tobacco Free New York has launched because kids really have seen enough.

10 Things Every (Not So) Crafty Mom or Dad Needs | #Crafts

I wish I was a crafty mom, but the truth is, I just am not. Now, if you give me the materials, easy to follow directions, and basically everything I need to create something – I am all over it. I know there are other parents like this out there, so I put together a collection of easy project kits and books that every not so crafty parent can benefit from. All items listed were personally tested by myself and/or my daughters. We had a blast with all of these items – and you and your kids are sure to as well!

Protect Your Credit with TransUnion PLUS Get A Great Deal Here! | #SSPartners #transunion

I don’t open up about this much, but I once had my identity stolen. Someone took a check that was written for a car payment out of my mailbox and used that check to get access to my bank account numbers. Not only did I have to deal with them withdrawing a ridiculous amount of money from my bank account, I ended up being late on that car payment because the check never made it to where it was going. This certainly didn’t help my credit score.

Getting Real with Downward Dog’s Allison Tolman & Samm Hodges | #GotGVol2Event #DownwardDog

While in LA recently, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak at ABC’s new show, Downward Dog. I have two dogs myself (a pug and puggle) and am a HUGE dog lover so I was really excited to see this show. I honestly had no idea how hard it would hit me. Within minutes I was feeling guilty for flying to LA and leaving my pups behind. I instantly thought of all the moments I didn’t take them for a walk when I should have or when I pet them when I should have. A special sneak peak of Downward Dog airs tonight, May 16th, at 9:30pm, don’t miss it!
