My oldest daughter is big in to trading card games and she is only (almost) 6 years old. Because of this, Yu-Gi-Oh has quickly become one of her favorite shows to watch. She has quite the collection of cards and is actually really good at the game. There is nothing like getting to watch your favorite characters and creatures come to life on the TV though. That is why she was super thrilled to get an advance copy of Yu-Gi-Oh: The Dark Side of Dimensions – available now on Digital HD and coming home on Blu-ray June 27th.
My daughters are big gamers, just like their mama. They have a tablet that my husband and I have filled with great games for their age that they share. The newest game we downloaded is Noddy Toyland Detective. This app is based on a show that they watch on Netflix all the time. It is one of their favorites so you can imagine how excited they were to see a game where they could play as Noddy and solve cases! They couldn’t believe they could meet characters from the TV show including Bumpy Dog, Revs, Pat-Pat and the Panda Pockets, Fuse, the Naughticorns! This game quickly became one of my favorites too.
We are a family that loves to play games. In fact, many nights and days are spent around the dining room table playing board games. Playing games as a family at least a few times a week is something that I grew up doing and feel is very important to continue with my daughters. The Smiths are also huge fans of the Despicable Me and Minions movies. My girls flip over the little yellow guys, and my husband and I enjoy the fact that this a franchise we laugh at while watching too. Hasbro has recently released some Despicable Me 3 themed games in celebration of the new movie which hits theaters later this month!
In a world where good deeds and kindness are happening less and less often, it is more important than ever to teach our kids about giving back. Now, thanks to The Good Cards, I have an easy way to do this for my girls that they will find fun and exciting. The Good Cards is a real life game powered by a mobile app that is simple to use. This game is sure to have the whole world doing good deeds and helping each other out in no time.
In case you haven’t picked up on it yet, the Smiths are huge gamers. Even my daughters love video games. One that we have been spending a lot of time playing lately is LEGO Dimensions. I know I am probably late to the party here, but we have been having so much fun with this game! We have pretty busy schedules during the school year and have finally been able to fit in some family game playing time as the year dies down. It is not an exaggeration when I say this game gets played every day.
One of my favorite things to do to pass the time is gaming. We have just about every video game system out there – even a few tablets that are dedicated to mobile gaming. My daughters are only 4 and 5 but we play a lot of games on there together. They have even started being able to play some games by themselves. One of our new favorites is Poptropica Worlds, and I think all families will love it!
If you know anything about me, then you know I am a total geek. I love lots of nerdy things, including mobile gaming. I can spend hours gaming on my phone – and am not ashamed to admit that I have. There is no discrimination from me when it comes to mobile gaming, I love it all. Operation Now: Hospital is my latest mobile addiction, and I think you will enjoy it too.
As most of you probably know, I am a gamer girl. I have loved video games since I was a little girl playing on NES. My husband is a big gamer too and we actually still own an NES. We have bought every Nintendo console that has come out – including the newly released Nintendo Switch. It can be hard to find in stock, but if you can, I highly recommend picking it up, and here is why.
I run my girls around a lot – and I know this is only the beginning. They both do dance, but they are on different nights so it is a lot of time out of the house. In order to pass the time in the waiting room, I often pull out my phone and do some mobile gaming. There are a few that I really like but I am always up for a new game to try out. Elephant Mouse, the independent game publisher of the iOS hits Star Trek™ Rivals and Archetype, recently released the colorful and clever endless climber game, Twisty Sky, for iOS. The game, which requires both puzzle solving and quick reflexes, is available as a free download on the iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.
My girls and I both love to play mobile games. They are a great way to pass the time while waiting at restaurants or even in line at theme parks! They love all things Barbie so they were thrilled to hear about a new game, Barbie Sparkle Blast! It is free-to-play on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and on Google Play for Android devices. The launch of Barbie Sparkle Blast coincides with Barbie’s 58th birthday, providing players of all ages with a new way to engage with the iconic toy brand. All of us have loved playing this game – even my husband, but shhh don’t tell anyone.
