Fun & Crafts with Imaginative University!

I love doing crafts with my daughters. Especially ones that they learn things while doing them. I am always looking up things online, making shopping lists, and preparing fun activities to do. It is a long process, and can be kind of a pain sometimes, so that is why I was really excited to learn about Imaginative University!

Imaginative University is a monthly subscription service that will send you a box FULL of crafts (and sometimes a book!). So basically you get the learning and the fun, without the hassle of having to look up the activities and go shopping for the materials. Count me in! When I opened up our box, I was shocked. There was so much amazing-ness packed in to it! Both of my girls were in awe! This subscription box is geared toward 4-10 year olds, but my 2 year old could do some of it as well. And she loved the books that came with it.

The January theme is SNOW and there were a lot of fun projects to do. The book Snowy Day came with it and we read that over several times. We made a snowman out of baking soda and shaving cream – and then melted it with powdered drink mix! This activity was a blast – and also a science lesson. We learned about symmetry and made snowflakes out of coffee filters.

I also received some crafts for the theme CreARTivity. This one had a book as well – Beautiful Oops, which was a lot of fun – and a ton of creative thinking projects. My daughters had fun coloring salt to make sand art as well as taking doodles on paper and turning them in to masterpieces using their imaginations.

Imaginative University is a subscription box that really is fun for all ages. My husband and I had a blast doing these activities with the girls! The activities I talked about are not even all of it. Each box contained so much more! This subscription service is a great way to have learning projects on hand without having to research and shop yourself.
