DoodleBug Busy Bag

DoodleBug Busy Bag Review & Giveaway

As you all know by now, I stay at home with my girls. My oldest who is 3, will be starting school in 2 weeks (Eeek! Where does the time go?) but I spent the summer in craft central. I started off the summer with the idea that every week we would have a different theme and we would do crafts, read books, do experiments – all related to that one theme. Well, that lasted less than a month and I was totally out of ideas. I really wish I had discovered DoodleBug Busy Bags by Kidable Adventures just a couple months earlier. It would have saved me a lot of time and energy, that is for sure!

DoodleBug Busy Bags is an amazing new monthly service that includes 4-8 themed crafts you can do with your littles (recommended ages 3-8). And it doesn’t just include some of the supplies – they have thought of everything! Even down to the crayons to go with the coloring book. I LOVE this! I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased something fun to do with the girls and I open it up and I need something I do not have (glue, tape, etc..). How am I supposed to explain to an 18 month old and a 3 year old that we cannot do this project right now, we have to wait. That is never fun.

These busy bags are the perfect thing for any parent! Even if your child is in school or daycare, you can pull out these crafts on the weekends or weeknight for some special time with your little one. There are several subscription options you can check out and order from their website – 1 month, 2 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year – and they are $15.99 a bag. Let’s talk about that price for a minute. That is an amazing deal! If I tried to put this many crafts together, besides driving myself insane, I would end up spending a lot more before I left the store than $15.99!

I am honestly hooked on this idea and I have already started the pitch with my husband on why this is absolutely necessary to have in our home. My daughter had so much fun doing each and every one of these crafts. On the “overview” sheet that comes in the bag, it gave facts about each bug we were going to make. She still giggles when we talk about how ladybugs smell through their feet! Check out Kidable Adventures on Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, and Google+ to stay in the loop!

**Giveaway – There is currently a #giveaway going on over at Mama Smith’s Blog Facebook Page to #win your very own DoodleBug Busy Bag! Head over there now and enter! Winner will be announced September 1st!

I received these bags free in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
