I was lucky enough to receive some Nutrexin products from Moms Meet in order to try them out. I keep hearing bad things about the aluminum in deodorant – but let’s face it, most “natural” deodorants do not really do the job. I have tried them and within an hour or two, I can tell that they have worn off. I recently learned that the primary cause of strong-smelling perspiration is bacterial flora and that sweat is naturally odorless, but when it reaches the skin’s surface, bacteria that normally live on the skin digest sweat and excrete the strong-smelling waste associated with smelly sweat. Nutrexin has used this information to develop an aluminum free deodorant that I am shocked to say, has worked really well!
Traditional deodorants are made with a chemical composition and its acidic pH can lead to the destruction of the skins natural ability to regulate itself, recent studies have shown these chemicals can be linked to the emergence of serious health issues and skin conditions. This has scared me so I was really excited to try out Nutrexin. This Alum-Free Roll-On Deodorant offers reliable 24-hour protection with a balanced alkaline effect. Nutrexin Alum-Free deodorant does not contain aluminum, fragrances, preservatives, and artificial colors! This deodorant is not only safe for all skin types, it also Alum-Free deodorant dries quickly and does not leave a white residue. Alum-Free Deodorant uses Sage, Witch Hazel, and other plant extracts to provide beneficial anti-microbial effects and protection against the emergence of bacteria. I have been very pleased after a few weeks of using this – pleasantly surprised even, I was a tad skeptical because of past experiences! Nutrexin Alum-Free Roll-On Deodorant (1.7 oz.) retails for $9.99.
I was also able to try out Nutrexin Bath Salts and Vital Restore. Both of these products are pretty awesome as well. The bath salts are very soothing and relaxing – I can’t take a bath without them now! They are made with combination of Himalayan Salt and Baking Soda that helps smooth rough skin, promote skin rejuvenation, and leaves my skin feeling healthy, smooth and silky! The Vital Restore has been great since I have been working hard to lose weight and stay fit. Even with trying to eat right, exercise and get enough sleep – the challenges of modern lifestyles can really take a toll on my body – both mentally and physically. These Vital Restore capsules can help when feeling run down, scattered and sluggish. Based on Ayurvedic principles, Vital Restore is formulated with a synergistic blend of herbs and plant extracts to provide the three (3) most important aspects of complete health & vitality: Detoxification, Antioxidants and Metabolism.
