My husband is an amazing artist. He is super talented and can draw something just by looking at it. I have always been jealous of this as I am not artistic at all. My daughters ask me to draw things for them and will say that it is good, but I know better than that. I have been trying to teach them to draw animals and I am not a very good teacher. So when I heard about a book that could help you draw over 100 cartoon animals easily, I was super excited!
Drawing Animals Shape By Shape does exactly what the title says – helps you draw animals by using simple shapes. I was shocked by how easy it made it! Using step-by-step instructions I can now draw dogs, cats, sea creatures, dinosaurs, and more! My 4 year old has gotten really good at it as well. I think that this book is great for children ages 4 and up – and parents as well. We have a ton of fun creating stories with our animals now, and I must say, I am pretty proud of myself!
In this follow-up to the popular book Drawing Shape by Shape, kids and adults alike will learn how to draw a wide variety of animals thanks to Christopher Hart is the leading author of art instruction books in the US. His more than 50 books offer artists accessible, generously illustrated, and clearly written step-by-step instruction on a wide variety of how-to-draw subjects, including manga, anime, human anatomy, cartooning, comics, and animals.
