My daughters and I love reading – and when we can get a book with one of their names in it – they love it! That is why I am such a big fan of I See Me. They have so many great stories to choose from (we have a couple of their books!) and they are great quality. Let’s face it, when my young girls get excited to see their names on the pages, they are not exactly gentle with the books. They flip through the pages really fast and I wince thinking I will hear a rip – but I never do with I See Me books.
I See Me books are always beautifully wrapped when they arrive, making it even more exciting. Another one of my favorite things about their books is that every page will feature their name – either within the story itself or worked in to the illustration. I make a game out of it with my kids, asking them to pick out their names. I See Me also asks for a photo of your child so they can include it, along with a personalized message, on the title page. How sweet is that? These are books that I am hoping my girls will be able to share with their kids one day.
The most recent book that we have gotten from I See Me is their My Pirate Adventure book. I gave it to my daughter this morning in celebration of Talk Like A Pirate day. We have already read it several times and she was really excited to see her photo in it. I love the adventure story – always impressed by I See Me!

Your child will be the star of the fully personalized book, “My Pirate Adventure,” by customizing the pirate with your child’s name, skin tone, hair color, initials and more. Your little pirate will delight in this adventure on the high seas in which the crew of a pirate ship swab the deck, eat breakfast in the galley, sing sea chanteys, use a treasure map and dig up buried treasure!
And, in “My Very Own Pirate Tale Coloring and Activity Book,” entertaining sea creatures bring letters one by one to spell out your child’s first name, and they describe why he or she is the perfect candidate to be the captain’s first mate. At the end of this adventurous pirate story your child’s name is revealed as the secret to opening the treasure.
