I am a subscription box addict. I love opening them up and not knowing what is going to be inside. My husband and I also love all things spicy. We are huge “hot” fans and most of our favorite dinners have a lot of spice. Most nights we are cooking something different from the girls because our food is too hot for them. So when my husband and I came across Heck That’s Hot subscription box service, we knew we wanted to try it! I love subscription boxes because they often introduce me to products that I would normally not know about or find in the store unless I go looking for them.
The box I received was amazing! I love The Better Chip Jalapenos Chips – I have had them before and they are a favorite of mine, so I was excited to see them included. The Hot Mama pickle was a fun treat – and really yummy! I was actually shocked by how much I enjoyed it. As for the salsa that was included, Salsa from Hell, my husband LOVES it! He told me it is his new favorite salsa and he will be wanting more. Inside the box was also some Sassy Dip Mix for Chipotle Seasoning (delicious!), Add Kickin’ Habanero Popcorn (a great treat), and some Lindt Chili Chocolate. Then there is the Ghost Pepper and Blueberry Hot Sauce from Bravado Spic Co. My husband pulled this out and his fave beamed. He just could not wait to try it. He recently had a pear hot sauce and enjoyed it so he figured this would be great too. He says that words cannot describe how amazing this hot sauce is. He really likes it on eggs. This is something we will be purchasing more of, I can be sure of that.
Overall, I would say if you – or someone you know – loves spicy things, this is a great box and well worth the cost. You get a great variety of items with spice ranging from just a little hot to ghost pepper hot! I think this would make a great Father’s Day gift – I know my dad and husband would love a subscription! This would make a fun and unique gift, and I highly recommend it!
