I love playing games with my daughters. Because I stay home with them, we have a lot of time to play around – but I always try to make sure we play mostly educational games. Even things like color recognition are important and so when I came across Crazy Cereal from Educational Insights, I knew that it was something I needed to have.
I was really impressed with this game and how easy – and fun – it was to play. Each player has a light up spoon. You need to grab a cereal piece that matches the color your spoon is flashing and put it in your bowl. When the spoon stops flashing colors, time is up. This game is great for color recognition – my 2 year old is learning a lot from it – as well as motor skills and hand-eye coordination. This game is recommended for ages 4 and up, but if you are around to help, children as young as 2 can play (just make sure they don’t put the pieces in their mouths). This game does require two AAA batteries which are not included.
Crazy Cereal is so much fun – for the whole family. We are huge fans of Educational Insights and this game has joined the list of our favorites to play on game night! If you have little ones, you should really browse the Educational Insights website – they have so many great games and toys that are fun AND educational!
