Q Package

My girls and I love to play board games. Some are just mindless fun, but I like games that teach them as well as make them think. Young children are sponges and they are always soaking things in. I think it is really important to make sure that you are exposing them to the right things. And one of those things is Q – a genius dusky leaf monkey, who still has a lot to learn about life and doing the right thing. EQtainment has many amazing products featuring this fun monkey!

Q Plush   Q's Race to the Top   Q's Wild Ride

The Q package that I received came with a Q plush, Q’s Race to the Top board game, and the book, Q’s Wild Ride. My daughters were immediately excited when they saw this lovable monkey! My two year old was following me around with the plush telling me to “get him out” of his packaging while I was trying to set up the board game for my three and a half year old. It was chaos for a little bit there, but that is the life a mom, right? I must say that I was really impressed with the quality of all the Q items – and I knew that they would be a ton of fun!

Q's Wild Ride                    Q Package

The Q plush is weighted which really helps with comfort and relaxation for little ones. He is super soft and cute. He is wearing his green hoodie that he wears in his game and book. My daughters both love him and have enjoyed taking turns playing with him since he arrived at our house. Q’s Wild Ride is a great book. I don’t want to give too much away, but in the end, Q learns that he needs to think of others, and not just himself. We have read this book a few times already, and my daughters love it. I was really impressed with the writing and illustrations, as well. This book comes with a read-along audio CD. You can purchase these Q items exclusively at Target.

Q’s Race to the Top is a board game that is great for any family time. I think it would really bring people together as they discuss the questions. This game is a lot like most board games – you start at the bottom and roll the dice to make it to the top. Along the way, you choose cards based on the color space you landed on. There are blue “You” cards, green “Q” cards, and red “Do” cards. Unlike any other game I have seen before, these cards ask you questions that really get you talking – and there is no time limit to your discussion! The “You” cards ask questions about you – they are designed for practicing things like manners, positive behavior, creative thinking, and more. The “Q” cards describe a situation Q is in and ask how he should handle it. These cards work on children’s social skills, coping skills, and managing emotions. The “Do” cards are designed to get kids up and moving. They ask you to do things like punch the air as fast as you can, or balance on one leg while the other players make silly noises. This game really is amazing. I love playing with my girls and listening to their answers to difficult questions. Purchase your copy here.
